Technical Architect – Teamcenter / SAP PLM Integration

The candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, developing integration solutions, troubleshooting complex interfaces, and providing technical leadership across Teamcenter and SAP PLM environments.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement technical architecture for Teamcenter–SAP PLM integrations.

Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between Siemens Teamcenter and SAP.

Provide hands-on technical expertise in T4S (Teamcenter Gateway for SAP) and T4ST (Teamcenter Gateway for SAP Teamcenter).

Work extensively with PLM SI / PLM System Integration and SAP PLM integration frameworks.

Develop and customize integration interfaces using appropriate Teamcenter and SAP technologies.

Perform hands-on interface coding, enhancements, debugging, and performance tuning.

Work with SAP GSS (Global Service/Support) technical teams and integration components.

Design integration patterns for engineering data, materials, documents, BOMs, changes, and related PLM objects.

Define technical specifications, interface mappings, data flows, and integration architecture.

Collaborate with SAP functional teams, Teamcenter architects, developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.

Analyze integration issues and provide root-cause analysis and technical solutions.

Review existing interfaces and recommend improvements for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Lead technical discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and integration testing.

Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and production stabilization activities.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to integration developers.

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience as a Technical Architect / Senior Technical Lead in Teamcenter and SAP PLM integration.

Hands-on expertise with Siemens Teamcenter.

Strong experience with T4S and/or T4ST.

Strong knowledge of PLM SI / PLM System Integration.

Experience with SAP GSS and SAP technical integration environments.

Proven experience in hands-on interface coding and development.

Strong understanding of Teamcenter–SAP integration architecture and data flows.

Experience integrating BOM, Material Master, Document, Engineering Change, and related PLM objects between Teamcenter and SAP.

Strong understanding of SAP technical architecture and integration concepts.

Experience with integration troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.

Ability to translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
