SAP Technical Architect – SD/MM/PP

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Architect with strong hands-on and architectural expertise across SAP SD, MM, and PP** modules. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of SAP business processes, technical architecture, integrations, custom development, and end-to-end solution design.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, and technical teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical architecture and solution design for SAP implementations, enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives.

Provide strong technical expertise across SAP SD, MM, and PP business processes.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP technical solutions.

Design end-to-end SAP architecture covering interfaces, integrations, custom developments, data flows, and system enhancements.

Collaborate with SAP functional consultants across SD, MM, PP, and other modules to ensure seamless integration.

Provide technical leadership for SAP development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Review existing SAP architecture and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.

Define technical standards, development guidelines, integration patterns, and best practices.

Lead technical design and code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP architecture standards.

Support integration between SAP and external applications using appropriate integration technologies.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural solutions for critical production problems.

Work with project teams on SAP S/4HANA transformation, migration, upgrade, and modernization initiatives.

Provide technical guidance to ABAP, integration, and other SAP technical teams.

Ensure solutions follow security, performance, data integrity, and enterprise architecture standards.

Prepare technical design documents, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and other project documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of SAP experience with significant experience in technical architecture and solution design.

Strong overall SAP experience with SD, MM, and PP.

Proven experience working at SAP Technical Architect / SAP Solution Architect / SAP Lead Architect level.

Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across:

SAP SD: Order-to-Cash, Sales Order, Delivery, Billing, Pricing

SAP MM: Procure-to-Pay, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master

SAP PP: Production Planning, MRP, Production Orders, BOM, Routing

Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and migration concepts.

Strong SAP ABAP understanding, including custom developments, enhancements, interfaces, and technical objects.

Experience with SAP integrations using technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, APIs, Web Services, OData, or similar.

Understanding of SAP master data and integration across SD/MM/PP.

Experience designing complex interfaces between SAP and third-party systems.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to provide technical leadership across multiple SAP workstreams.
