Introduction

About the Role

We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support our e-commerce growth through expertly managed ad and email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of paid media and email marketing platforms, particularly Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, Google Merchant Center and Klaviyo. You'll be working closely with a U.S.-based team to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across multiple channels and product categories.

This is a remote role, best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited to work with a leading brand in the golf technology space.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns across various funnel stages
     
  • Create, analyze, manage, and update Klaviyo email & SMS flows.
     
  • Monitor & manage product listing data quality in Google Merchant Center & Meta Commerce Manager
  • Track performance metrics, analyze data, and suggest actionable improvements
     
  • Maintain brand consistency and voice throughout marketing copy in ads, emails + SMS.
     
  • Work collaboratively with content and creative teams to execute new campaign ideas
     
  • Ensure flawless English grammar and tone in ad and email copy
     
  • Become the trusted eyes & ears of the Marketing Director
     
  • Stay current with platform updates and e-commerce trends
     
  • Assist with audience segmentation, A/B testing, and lifecycle marketing initiatives
     

Desired Experience & Qualification

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads
     
  • 1+ year of experience using Klaviyo for email marketing
     
  • Exceptional written English (American-style) — grammar, tone, and clarity
     
  • Strong understanding of marketing KPIs and reporting
     
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate proactively
     
  • Comfortable working 9AM–5PM ET or MT U.S. hours for the first 6 months. Employer open to switching to full flex hours based on performance.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity and passion for the game of golf
     
  • Experience working with sporting goods, golf, or outdoor gear brands
     
  • Background managing large-scale paid media or email marketing budgets
     
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Google Analytics, or Amazon Ads
     
  • Experience in performance creative development and testing

Package & Remuneration

 

Location: Remote –  South Africa preferred
Compensation:

  • South Africa: $1,500–$2,200/month USD

Schedule: Full-time (40hrs/week), Monday to Friday, 9AM–5PM ET - opportunity to choose your own working hours (after initial 6 month period)
