ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Marketing Campaign Manager will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns that drive engagement, growth, and business results. Working collaboratively with the content, communications, creative, digital, web, and translation teams, this role will support organizational programs and initiatives through strategic, data-driven marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on digital, email, and paid media channels. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and strategic with a passion for providing exceptional audience experiences.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE OVERALL MISSION OF HOCKEY CANADA
Support the development of an annual marketing plan to aid in the growth of Hockey Canada’s digital, social, and database platforms.
Lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to delivery, including campaign briefing, creative development, stakeholder coordination, channel planning, optimization, and post-campaign reporting, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables.
Oversee paid digital & social marketing campaigns to support internal stakeholders and their programs and initiatives, including but not limited to: national and international tournament ticket sales, merchandise sales, partnership programs, and hockey development initiatives, etc.
Develop and execute email marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
Support the technical management of database and email marketing platforms, including audience segmentation, customer journey development, automation workflows, and system integrations, to improve engagement and conversion.
Collaborate with Hockey Canada’s creative team to develop look and feel campaigns to support internal marketing initiatives.
Drive and maintain the appropriate processes, procedures, forms, and critical paths for each marketing campaign.
Anticipate and effectively mitigate problems; consistently communicate to stakeholders with updates on progress and/or challenges.
Manage campaign deployment across websites, email, digital, and out-of-home advertising, and stakeholder channels to ensure a seamless and aligned customer experience.
Work closely with the Manager, Market Intelligence, to analyze campaign performance, identify insights, and improve future marketing initiatives.

EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED
A self-starter with 3–5 years of progressive marketing experience; experience in sports, entertainment, or consumer-focused industries is considered an asset.
A good understanding of the continuously changing dynamics of youth culture, sports, and entertainment is beneficial in this role.
Deep understanding of the media landscape, especially digital and social media, and new emerging platforms.
Can develop and execute paid marketing campaigns across all relevant platforms.
Ability to develop audience categories, and purchase and manage media against them, using Google and social media platforms and other media partners.
Must be results-driven, with the ability to think critically to drive for continuous improvement and improved performance; expects the highest quality performance from self and others
Experience writing effective marketing content, developing proposals and delivering presentations.
Experience with Content Management & Database Marketing systems, and all forms of social media.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

Ability to work staggered hours, evenings and weekends as necessary
Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required.

The salary band for this position starts at $68,000 per year.
