About the role:
Role focuses on relationship-building with self-storage owners, maintaining a database, and negotiating acquisitions
Maintain and update database of self-storage facilities
Regular outreach to facility owners (e.g., every 6 months)
Create pro formas using complex Excel models
Draft purchase agreements using existing templates
Negotiate deals with facility owners
Potential future tasks: investor communications, K-1 distributions
New construction aspect: finding suitable land sites
Strong relationship-building skills
Comfortable with cold-calling and negotiations
Business acumen and understanding of contracts
Proficiency in Excel (for complex pro forma models)
Neutral or light accent
Prior M&A or finance background beneficial but not required
