Pearson is hiring an Instructional Designer (Specialist, Content Developer) to build enterprise-grade learning experiences that drive measurable workforce outcomes. This role sits at the center of our Enterprise Content & Training (ECT) business—designing learning solutions that connect skills to job roles and business impact, not just standalone courses.
The Learning Scientist/Instructional Designer plays a strategic role in shaping high‑impact learning experiences for clients. This position blends deep expertise in training needs discovery, instructional design, and stakeholder engagement to deliver solutions that drive measurable performance outcomes. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who can translate business challenges into effective learning strategies and guide clients through the full lifecycle of training development.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $80,000 to $105,000.
