We're hiring a Business Analyst/ Project Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Business Analyst / Project Manager is a hybrid role responsible for partnering with business stakeholders, development team members, and engineering teams to define, coordinate, and deliver high-value technology solutions that support business objectives, customer needs, and applications that interact with company devices. This position combines business analysis responsibilities such as gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing current and future state processes, identifying system impacts, and translating business needs into clear actionable work items, with project management responsibilities including facilitating meetings, driving prioritization, tracking timelines and milestones, reporting status, managing risks and dependencies, and maintaining alignment across cross-functional teams from intake through delivery.
Stakeholder Collaboration-
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and understand business needs, pain points, priorities, and opportunities.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, working meetings, and prioritization discussions to gather input and drive alignment.
• Translate stakeholder needs into detailed business and functional requirements.
Business Analysis and Requirements Management-
• Gather, document, refine, and manage business requirements for enhancements, projects, and operational initiatives.
• Create user stories, use cases, process flows, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure requirements are clear, actionable, and understood by the development team.
• Document current-state and future-state processes while partnering with technical team members.
Project Management and Delivery Coordination-
• Assist in project planning, estimation, scheduling, dependency tracking, and risk management.
• Lead project coordination activities to support the timely delivery of solutions.
• Track milestones, status, blockers, and key decisions across active work efforts.
• Provide consistent project and timeline reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
Backlog Management and Prioritization-
• Create, prioritize, refine, and maintain the product and project backlog.
• Help ensure the development team is working on the highest-value items aligned with business priorities.
• Facilitate input from stakeholders to support priority decisions and tradeoff discussions.
Development Process Oversight-
• Collaborate with the development team throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Provide clarification, direction, and follow-up as needed during implementation.
• Help ensure business intent and requirements remain aligned throughout development.
Cross-Functional Technical Partnership-
• Partner with Development, Business, and Engineering teams to understand cross-system impacts and solution considerations.
• Develop working knowledge of applications, integrations, workflows, and device-related interactions that may affect project scope or solution design.
• Support collaboration on efforts involving software that interacts with company devices.
Process Improvement-
• Evaluate current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and support solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, visibility, and consistency.
• Recommend improvements to team processes related to intake, prioritization, planning, and delivery.
Quality Assurance and Validation-
• Review and accept completed work to ensure it meets requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality expectations.
• Support user acceptance testing, validation, and release readiness activities.
• Help ensure completed solutions meet business needs before release.
Documentation-
• Maintain organized documentation related to requirements, processes, decisions, use cases, and project details.
• Create documentation that supports enhancements to existing software and implementation of new solutions.
Blocker Resolution and Risk Awareness-
• Identify, communicate, and help resolve blockers or risks that may impact delivery.
• Escalate issues appropriately and partner with stakeholders to remove obstacles.
Scrum and Agile Practices-
• Lead and participate in Scrum meetings, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and related Agile activities.
• Help the team maintain visibility, accountability, and forward progress across work items.
Continuous Improvement
• Continuously gather feedback and make informed recommendations to improve products, processes, and team effectiveness.
• Stay informed on relevant technologies, tools, and industry trends.
User Training and Support-
• Provide training and support to users and stakeholders on new systems, features, or software solutions.
• Create user documentation, support materials, and communication content as needed.
General Responsibilities-
• This is not a traditional BA-only or PM-only position; the person in this role is expected to perform both Business Analysis and Project Management responsibilities.
• All other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar hybrid role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform both business analysis and project management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Experience gathering requirements, creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and documenting business processes.
• Experience coordinating projects, managing timelines, tracking dependencies, facilitating meetings, and providing status reporting.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional global teams across multiple time zones.
• Ability to understand business processes, technical impacts, and cross-system dependencies.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, operational systems, or customer/business workflows preferred.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams or supporting applications that interact with physical devices is a plus.
• This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, a strong communicator, and comfortable owning both requirements definition and delivery coordination.
