Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding

ICAT Logistics Detroit is a freight forwarding firm with global reach and a local team that moves fast. We're hiring a senior sales executive to own a territory, build a book of business, and grow with us.

Detroit is a trade-intensive market. You'll work with manufacturers, automotive suppliers, and industrial companies who need a logistics partner they can trust. That's your advantage.

What you'll own

• Build and manage a pipeline of net-new freight forwarding opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, and industry relationships
• Design and sell customized solutions — air, ocean, ground, or multimodal — in partnership with our operations team
• Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to closed contract
• Grow revenue within your book through upsell, cross-sell, and retention
• Represent ICAT at industry events and in the Detroit business community
• Keep your pipeline current and accurate in CRM

What we need from you

• 3+ years of freight forwarding or global logistics sales experience required
• Direct experience selling import/export or international freight solutions required
• Existing network in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial verticals — strong plus
• Self-sourced pipeline ability — you're not waiting for inbound leads
• Consultative selling skills; you understand operations well enough to design solutions, not just pitch prices
• CRM discipline and strong professional communication
