What We’re Looking For
Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Quality Analyst I to join our team! The Quality Analyst I is responsible for conducting data analysis activities for Trillium Health Resources, which includes completion of reports in compliance with the DMH and DMA contract requirements, NCQA accreditation, HEDIS reporting, as well as other external and internal reporting needs. The Quality Analyst I is a member of the Quality Management Department and is responsible for various quality assurance and quality improvement activities throughout the organization. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the QM Department, such as managing committee support, data/ reports, training, HEDIS measures, and national accreditation. This position handles and processes sensitive, complex, and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
On a typical day, you might:
- Develop analytical reports, including conducting analysis, information synthesis, summarizing and interpretation of results, to include the identification of patterns and trends in data.
- Ensure all reports are submitted within assigned deadlines to avoid possible penalties or plans of correction. Supports established schedule of external reporting per contracts and internal reporting (as requested).
- Ensure that data from reports are presented in a user-friendly format and made accessible to staff, consumers and community members. Ensure all reports include appropriate references to data sources so that reports can be replicated, if requested.
- Analyze and report statistical data on populations, disabilities and cultural factors. Work to integrate available physical health and pharmacy data into the QM/QIC process. Identify matters of significance that could impact the agency.
- Assist and support the development of HEDIS oriented plans assuring the agency's compliance with national accreditation standards, as well as implementing improvements throughout the organization to ensure efficient and quality care.

Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in data analysis, data reporting, data collection, or use of databases; OR
- Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in data analysis, data reporting, data collection, or use of databases; OR
- Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in data analysis, data reporting, data collection, or use of databases; OR
- Equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must reside within North Carolina.
- Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
Preferred:
- Four (4) year degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or the Human Service field (such as Psychology, Social Work, etc.).
- Experience in quality improvement activities and HEDIS.
- Two – four (2-4) years working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server, handling large data sets, relational databases, and Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, graphs).
- CSPA, Certified Machine Learning – Specialty (AWS), Predictive Analytics Certificate (SOA), and/or CAHIMS, ITIL v3 or equivalent certifications preferred.
