Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Your responsibilities will include creating and submitting sales reports, building rapport with new and existing customers within your territory, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service, and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals.
Responsibilities
- Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
- Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy
- Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) program
- Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in outside sales
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and ability to be persistent

The IICRC is the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a non-profit organization for the Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Industries. The IICRC, originally named the International Institute of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Inc. (IICUC), was founded in 1972 by Ed York. Since starting in 1972, the IICRC has evolved into a global organization with more than 49,000 active Certified Technicians and more than 6,500 Certified Firms around the world.
The IICRC is managed by its Board of Directors, which is composed of 15 industry leaders elected by the IICRC’s Shareholders. The Board of Directors’ function is to represent the various interests of the applicants while leading the direction of the organization. The Board of Directors meets four times per year and is tasked with the responsibility of helping shape future policies of the organization and uphold the standards that help shape the industry.
