Social Service Specialist 5 - Nursing Facility Case Manager Supervisor

DSHS's Home and Community Living Administration (HCLA) is looking for a Nursing Facility Case Manager Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in South King County. In this role, you will guide a unit of social service professionals who work every day to help older adults and people with disabilities live with independence, dignity, and choice.
Your team handles the full range of long-term care case management, from assessing client needs to authorizing services to making sure those services are delivered on time and meet state standards. The people your team serves are counting on them. Your job is to make sure your staff have the direction, tools, and support they need to do that work well.
As a Nursing Facility Case Manager Supervisor, you will coach staff through complex cases, hold the unit accountable to quality and compliance standards, and build strong working relationships with Area Agencies on Aging, community partners, and other agencies. Your work keeps the unit running and the people it serves supported.
Location: The duty station for this position can either be Renton or Federal Way.
King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use.
