Responsibilities
  • Architect and lead the implementation of advanced CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevSecOps integrations across cloud-native and hybrid environments.
  •  Establish and enforce enterprise DevOps standards, automation frameworks, and governance models. 
  • Drive platform reliability, scalability, and performance by enhancing monitoring, alerting, self-healing, and disaster recovery capabilities. 
  • Collaborate with software architects, security engineers, and product teams to align DevOps practices with security, compliance, and business priorities.
  • Lead high-impact incident response and root cause analysis efforts, ensuring long-term resolution and learning. 
  • Design and implement environmental strategies (e.g., blue/green, canary, feature flagging) for complex release workflows and zero-downtime deployments. 
  • Evaluate emerging tools, platforms, and processes to ensure the DevOps toolchain remains current, cost-effective, and aligned to team needs. 
  • Serve as a mentor and escalation point for DevOps Engineers I–III, providing architectural guidance, training, and knowledge sharing. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to define long-term DevOps roadmap and participate in strategic planning and budgeting. 
  • Perform technical reviews of pipelines, cloud resources, and automation solutions to ensure security, cost efficiency, and best practice adherence. 
  • Lead cross-functional working groups to drive modernization, platform migrations, or transformation initiatives.

Qualifications
  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a closely related field, or foreign equivalent 
  • 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 2 years focused on Data Engineering environments in DevOps Engineer, or a related position. 
  • In alternative, we will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a closely related field, or foreign equivalent and 2 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 2 years focused on Data Engineering environments in DevOps Engineer, or a related position.
  •  

This position also requires:

  • 2 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable solutions on AWS cloud platform;
  • 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically with Terraform and CloudFormation and with designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure programmatically;
  • 2 years of experience with: CI/CD and Automation and tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions; Scripting and automation using Python; and automating deployment of data pipelines, ETL/ELT jobs, and analytics solutions;
  • 2 years of experience with: Data Engineering Platforms & Pipelines; Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, Spark, SQL Server, SSIS, Airflow, dbt; and supporting scalable, secure, and performant data pipelines; 
  • 2 years of experience with Monitoring & Observability tools including: CloudWatch and Datadog and with implementing logging, alerting, and performance monitoring for data workloads; and 
  • 1 year of experience with Containers & Orchestration, Docker, Kubernetes, and supporting containerized data workloads.
